Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize Windows/Linux server environments supporting 5,000+ endpoints
- Lead AWS/Azure migrations while maintaining 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Automate infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and Ansible
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP across multi-site deployments
- Develop disaster recovery plans and conduct quarterly failover tests
- Collaborate with security teams to harden systems against emerging threats
- Mentor junior administrators and document operational procedures
Qualifications
- 5+ years administering Windows Server 2019+ and RHEL/CentOS environments
- Expertise in AWS/Azure services including EC2, VPC, and Azure AD
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, AWS SysOps, or Azure Administrator
- Experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, Nagios, Datadog)
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs)
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (NIST, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
