Key Objectives:
You will act as a technical lead, managing both on-premise and cloud-based systems while mentoring junior staff members. Your expertise will be crucial in driving digital transformation initiatives within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain complex on-premise and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or hybrid environments).
- Configure, secure, and troubleshoot Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Implement and monitor robust security measures, patch management, and data backup procedures.
- Automate routine tasks and workflows using scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Collaborate with the network engineering team to ensure seamless network stability and performance.
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support and leadership for complex system issues.
- Document system configurations and processes to ensure compliance and knowledge transfer.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in systems administration within a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and VPN technologies.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, AWS Solutions Architect Associate, or VCP (VMware Certified Professional).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot under pressure.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
- Ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances.
