Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise and cloud-based server infrastructure (Windows Server, Linux, AWS).
- Implement and monitor network security protocols, firewalls, and VPNs to protect company assets.
- Design, deploy, and troubleshoot Active Directory environments and identity management solutions.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to facilitate CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
- Perform regular system audits, backups, and disaster recovery testing to ensure business continuity.
- Provide Level 3 technical support and mentor junior administrators.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Deep expertise in Windows Server and Linux administration.
- Proficiency with PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Identity Management.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Azure.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or MCSE are a significant plus.
