Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of servers, storage, and network hardware to ensure maximum uptime and performance.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and monitor security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems to protect company assets.
- Cloud Administration: Manage and optimize cloud environments (Azure/AWS) and handle migration projects as needed.
- Scripting & Automation: Develop and maintain scripts (Python/Bash) to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Technical Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for Level 3 troubleshooting and resolve complex technical issues for internal stakeholders.
- Backup & Recovery: Lead regular system backups, disaster recovery drills, and data integrity checks.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in System Administration or IT Operations.
- Operating Systems: Strong proficiency in Windows Server and Linux distributions (Red Hat, CentOS).
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or Azure Administrator Certification preferred.
- Networking: In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPN technologies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
