Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise servers, virtualization environments (VMware), and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Design, deploy, and automate system configurations using scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
- Ensure data integrity and implement robust security protocols and disaster recovery plans.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues, and perform routine maintenance.
- Collaborate with network engineers and developers to optimize system performance and integration.
- Lead IT initiatives, including hardware upgrades and software migrations, ensuring minimal downtime.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server, Linux (Red Hat/CentOS), and Active Directory.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms.
- Expertise in scripting and automation tools (PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform).
- Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and security best practices.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, CCNA, or Azure/AWS certifications are a plus.
