Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows Server, Linux, and hybrid cloud environments
- Implement and maintain network security protocols (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS)
- Oversee Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise storage systems
- Perform system backups, disaster recovery testing, and incident response
- Automate routine tasks using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible
- Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipeline integration
- Document IT infrastructure and maintain compliance standards
- Provide Tier-3 support and mentor junior IT staff
Qualifications
- 5+ years in system administration with enterprise infrastructure
- Expertise in Windows Server 2016+ and RHEL/CentOS
- Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing)
- Cloud platform experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) required
- Security certifications (CISSP, Security+) preferred
- Scripting proficiency (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and containerization
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
