Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows Server, Linux, and cloud-based infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Implement and monitor security protocols including firewalls, encryption, and access controls
- Perform system backups, disaster recovery testing, and incident response
- Automate routine tasks using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Document IT infrastructure and create operational runbooks
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios or SolarWinds
- Provide Tier-3 support and mentor junior team members
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell/Python/Bash)
- Hands-on experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Proficient in containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Experience with cloud migration projects
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
