Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Linux/Windows servers, virtualization platforms (VMware), and cloud services (AWS/Azure)
- Implement robust cybersecurity measures including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and Splunk to proactively resolve issues
- Develop and maintain automation scripts (Python/PowerShell) for routine tasks
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise backup solutions
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines
- Document system configurations and create disaster recovery plans
- Provide Tier-3 support and mentor junior administrators
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise system administration
- Expertise in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server environments
- Certifications in AWS/Azure, CompTIA Server+, or CISSP preferred
- Proficiency with virtualization (VMware ESXi/KVM) and containerization (Docker)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience with monitoring tools and infrastructure automation
- Deep understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
- Ability to work under pressure and resolve critical incidents
