Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage on-premise and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Implement and maintain security policies, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Monitor system performance, analyze metrics, and optimize resources for scalability.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages (Python/Bash) and configuration management tools.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex hardware and software issues.
- Conduct regular system audits and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Manage user access control, directory services, and identity management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
- Expert proficiency in Linux (RHEL, CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
- Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell, or Bash).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, AWS Solutions Architect, or RHCE are highly preferred.
