Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise servers, virtualization environments, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Implement and monitor security protocols, patch management, and backup systems to ensure data integrity.
- Configure and troubleshoot Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network services.
- Automate routine tasks using PowerShell and Bash scripting to improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with development teams to deploy applications and manage CI/CD pipelines.
- Conduct regular system audits, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
- Provide 24/7 on-call support for critical infrastructure issues.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server (2012/2016/2019/2022) and Linux (RHEL/CentOS).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, MCSE, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator are highly preferred.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, or Bash).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to obtain a government security clearance if required.
