Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily administration and maintenance of Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Implement and manage security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems to safeguard company data.
- Design, deploy, and monitor virtualization infrastructure using VMware or Hyper-V.
- Provide Tier 3 support and troubleshooting for complex network and hardware issues.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to streamline CI/CD pipelines and cloud integration.
- Conduct regular system audits and capacity planning to ensure scalability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in System Administration.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Azure Administrator, or CCNA are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
