Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise Windows Server and Linux environments (RHEL/CentOS).
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot network infrastructure and security protocols.
- Perform routine system backups, disaster recovery testing, and patch management.
- Automate administrative tasks and scripts to improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor system health and performance using monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios).
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless deployment and integration.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Strong proficiency in Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS.
- Expert knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified SysOps, or VCP.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
