We are seeking a Senior System Administrator to join our dynamic IT team in Omaha, Nebraska. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our critical server infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security for our clients.

Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain on-premise and cloud-based server infrastructure using Linux and Windows Server environments.
- Configure and manage network hardware, firewalls, and VPNs to ensure robust security and connectivity.
- Implement and monitor Virtualization solutions (VMware, Hyper-V) to optimize resource utilization.
- Automate repetitive administrative tasks using scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python) to improve operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular system audits, security patching, and disaster recovery testing to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues, providing timely resolutions to minimize business impact.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in System Administration or Network Engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) and Microsoft Windows Server administration.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Expert knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP networking protocols.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator are highly desirable.
