Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Linux and Windows server environments, including deployment, patching, and troubleshooting.
- Configure and monitor cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring optimal performance and cost-efficiency.
- Implement and enforce security protocols, including firewalls, encryption, and access controls.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting languages (Python, Bash, Ansible).
- Collaborate with development teams to support CI/CD pipelines and database management.
- Perform regular system audits and capacity planning to support business growth.
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex technical issues and mentor junior administrators.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or Systems Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) and Windows Server administration.
- Experience with cloud platforms, specifically Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, AWS Solutions Architect, or CCNA are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
