Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Maintenance: Manage, monitor, and maintain server hardware, virtualization environments (VMware/Hyper-V), and operating systems (Windows Server & Linux).
- Network Administration: Configure, troubleshoot, and manage network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and VPNs.
- Security Implementation: Enforce security protocols, perform regular patch management, and conduct vulnerability assessments.
- Cloud Management: Assist in the migration and management of cloud resources (AWS/Azure) and ensure compliance with best practices.
- Incident Response: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, including hardware failures and software conflicts, with minimal downtime.
- Backup & Recovery: Oversee data backup strategies and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Certifications: Active certification such as CompTIA Server+, CCNA, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) and experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and DHCP.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours and be on-call for critical system issues.
