Key Responsibilities
As a Senior System Administrator, you will:
- Design, implement, and maintain on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Manage and optimize Active Directory, Group Policies, and Identity Management systems.
- Implement robust cybersecurity measures and conduct regular security audits.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and tools like Ansible.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex network and server issues to minimize downtime.
- Oversee disaster recovery planning and execute regular data backups.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines into the infrastructure.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
- 5+ years of experience in System Administration or IT Engineering.
- Strong expertise in Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server administration.
- Deep knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, RHCE, or AWS Solutions Architect are highly preferred.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
