We are looking for a proactive problem solver to ensure 99.9% uptime for our clients across the Southwest.
Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and maintain Linux and Windows Server environments to ensure high availability and security.
- Cloud Administration: Manage and optimize AWS and Azure cloud resources, including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, and virtual networks.
- Network Support: Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, configure firewalls, and manage VPNs for remote access.
- Automation & Scripting: Develop and deploy automation scripts (Python, PowerShell, Bash) to streamline IT operations and reduce manual errors.
- Security Compliance: Enforce security policies, conduct vulnerability assessments, and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM).
- Disaster Recovery: Maintain and test disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in case of data loss or system failure.
- End-User Support: Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support to internal staff regarding hardware and software issues.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in System Administration or Network Engineering.
- Operating Systems: Strong proficiency in Windows Server (Active Directory, GPO) and Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
- Networking: Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and subnetting.
- Cloud Skills: Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure services.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or AWS Solutions Architect certification is preferred.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
