Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and optimization of Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization environments (VMware).
- Network Administration: Configure and troubleshoot network hardware, including firewalls, switches, and routers, ensuring seamless connectivity.
- Active Directory: Manage user accounts, groups, Group Policy Objects (GPO), and identity management solutions.
- Cloud Integration: Collaborate with the DevOps team to integrate on-premise systems with Azure and AWS cloud services.
- Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices, conduct vulnerability assessments, and ensure adherence to IT security standards.
- Backup & Recovery: Design and maintain disaster recovery plans, ensuring data integrity and rapid restoration capabilities.
- Technical Support: Serve as the Tier 3 escalation point for complex technical issues affecting business operations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Operating Systems: Deep expertise in Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu).
- Certifications: MCSE, RHCE, or CompTIA Security+ preferred.
- Cloud Skills: Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS administration.
- Scripting: Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation tasks.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of translating technical jargon for non-technical stakeholders.
