Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise servers, virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V), and hybrid cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Implement and enforce robust security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and identity management (IAM).
- Configure, troubleshoot, and patch Windows Server and Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) operating systems.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Python, or PowerShell to streamline operational workflows.
- Monitor system performance, analyze metrics, and proactively resolve hardware and software issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan system upgrades, migrations, and capacity planning.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Systems Engineer.
- Deep knowledge of Linux administration and Windows Server management.
- Experience with cloud services, specifically AWS or Azure.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and load balancers.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash or PowerShell.
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
