Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain local and cloud-based servers, including Linux (RHEL, CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
- Configure and troubleshoot complex network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Implement and monitor security measures to protect the organization's data and privacy.
- Automate routine IT tasks using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
- Perform regular backups and ensure disaster recovery protocols are up to date.
- Provide advanced technical support to internal employees and resolve complex system issues.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to integrate CI/CD pipelines and cloud services (AWS/Azure).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong working knowledge of Linux and Windows Server administration.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Azure.
- Proficiency in scripting and configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, or Puppet).
- Valid IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, RHCE, or AWS Certified SysAdmin).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
