Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize Linux/Windows server environments with 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Manage cloud infrastructure across AWS/Azure/GCP using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Lead security hardening and compliance initiatives (SOC2, PCI-DSS)
- Automate deployment pipelines with Ansible/Chef for 500+ production servers
- Monitor system performance using Splunk/Grafana and resolve critical incidents
- Coordinate disaster recovery testing and cross-functional IT projects
- Mentor junior sysadmins and document operational procedures
Qualifications
- 5+ years enterprise system administration with Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash) and CI/CD pipeline experience
- Active CISSP or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Proven incident management and high-availability architecture design
- Experience with hybrid cloud networking and load balancing (F5/Nginx)
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across multi-tiered systems
