Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise servers (Linux/Windows) and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Implement and manage virtualization technologies using VMware and Hyper-V.
- Automate routine tasks and deployment processes using scripting languages like Python and Bash.
- Ensure data security and compliance with internal policies and industry standards.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to improve CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues.
- Conduct regular backups, disaster recovery drills, and system audits.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar IT role.
- Strong proficiency in Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) and Windows Server administration.
- Experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and firewall configuration.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- CompTIA Security+ or similar certification is a plus.
