What You'll Do:
Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the maintenance, configuration, and reliability of servers, networks, and hardware systems to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and monitor security protocols, firewalls, and antivirus solutions to protect sensitive data against cyber threats.
- Cloud Integration: Manage cloud resources (AWS/Azure) and ensure seamless migration and deployment of applications.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues for internal stakeholders with minimal downtime.
- System Updates: Plan and execute regular patch management, OS upgrades, and backup restoration procedures.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed technical documentation, including network diagrams and incident reports.
- Team Collaboration: Partner with the IT support team to enhance user experience and streamline IT processes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Operating Systems: In-depth knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux (Ubuntu/RedHat).
- Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash for automation tasks.
- Networking: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and Active Directory.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, Network+, or similar certifications are a strong plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with non-technical staff.
