Responsibilities
- Oversee the administration, maintenance, and security of on-premise servers and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Design and implement robust network solutions, including firewalls and VPNs, ensuring high availability.
- Automate routine IT tasks using scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) to improve efficiency.
- Conduct system performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and capacity planning.
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute regular backups to ensure business continuity.
- Manage Active Directory and user permissions to maintain data integrity and security.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
- Expert knowledge of Linux (RHEL, CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
- Strong understanding of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS or Azure.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools.
- CompTIA Security+ or higher certification is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
