Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex Windows Server and Linux environments
- Oversee cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) including virtualization and container orchestration
- Implement robust cybersecurity protocols and monitor security threats
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise backup systems
- Optimize network performance and troubleshoot hardware/software issues
- Document system configurations and create disaster recovery plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT with business objectives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019/2022 and Red Hat/CentOS Linux
- Strong knowledge of virtualization (VMware ESXi/KVM) and cloud platforms
- Certifications in CompTIA Server+, AWS Certified SysOps, or equivalent
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell/Python) for automation
- Deep understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls)
- Proven ability to manage high-availability systems and SLAs
