Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and optimization of on-premise servers and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Network Administration: Design, configure, and troubleshoot complex network topologies, ensuring high-speed connectivity and data integrity.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce IT security policies, manage firewalls, and conduct regular vulnerability assessments to protect sensitive data.
- System Monitoring: Utilize monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios) to proactively identify and resolve system anomalies before they affect users.
- User Support & Training: Provide advanced technical support to staff and conduct regular training sessions on software usage and security best practices.
- Backup & Recovery: Design and execute comprehensive data backup strategies and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
- Scripting & Automation: Develop automation scripts (Bash, PowerShell) to streamline routine administrative tasks and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of proven experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of Windows Server and Linux systems (RHEL, CentOS).
- Active Directory: Strong proficiency in managing Active Directory, group policies, and user permissions.
- Networking: Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and routing protocols.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills with a 'can-do' attitude.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
