What You'll Do
- Manage and maintain server infrastructure, including Windows Server, Linux, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Configure and troubleshoot network hardware and software, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Implement and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, including Active Directory.
- Monitor system health and performance, proactively addressing issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business-critical applications and migrations.
- Conduct regular backups, disaster recovery drills, and system audits.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in system administration or network engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration and scripting (PowerShell, Bash).
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud services.
- Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and firewalls.
- CompTIA Security+ or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Configure and troubleshoot network hardware and software for optimal performance.
- Implement and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Active Directory.
- Monitor system health and proactively resolve hardware and software issues.
- Collaborate with development teams to support application deployments and migrations.
- Conduct regular system backups and perform disaster recovery planning.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in System Administration or IT support.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Python, or Bash) is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and firewall configurations.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, or Azure/AWS certifications are a plus.
