Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux and Windows server environments to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Cloud Solutions: Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure.
- Security Administration: Implement and monitor security protocols, manage firewalls, and conduct vulnerability assessments.
- Scripting & Automation: Develop PowerShell and Python scripts to automate routine administrative tasks and improve efficiency.
- Network Administration: Configure and troubleshoot network devices including switches, routers, and VPNs.
- Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity during outages.
- Technical Support: Serve as a Level 3 support lead, resolving complex technical issues for internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Active Directory, virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V), and scripting languages (PowerShell/Bash).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of troubleshooting and resolving critical system failures.
