Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and administration of Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
- Cloud Architecture: Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring cost-efficiency and high availability.
- Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain Python and Bash scripts to automate repetitive tasks, deployment processes, and system monitoring.
- Security Compliance: Implement and enforce security protocols, conduct vulnerability assessments, and manage firewalls to protect organizational assets.
- Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain robust Disaster Recovery (DR) plans and conduct regular drills to ensure business continuity.
- Team Collaboration: Serve as the technical lead for system upgrades and migrations, mentoring junior administrators.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or DevOps Engineer.
- Operating Systems: Deep proficiency in both Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Cloud Skills: Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM) and containerization technologies like Docker.
- Scripting: Advanced skills in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, or Bash).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or CISSP preferred.
