Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain complex server environments, including Windows Server and Linux distributions.
- Design, configure, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and VPNs.
- Implement and enforce robust security protocols and access controls (Active Directory).
- Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting languages like PowerShell or Bash.
- Monitor system performance, conduct regular backups, and ensure high availability.
- Provide advanced Tier 2/3 technical support to internal employees and resolve complex hardware/software issues.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to integrate cloud services (AWS/Azure) into our existing infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4-6 years of professional experience in System Administration or IT Support.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong working knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows Server management.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (PowerShell, Python, or Ansible).
- CompTIA Security+ or similar certification is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
