Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows Server and Linux environments across hybrid cloud deployments
- Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity protocols including firewalls and intrusion detection systems
- Oversee virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Proactively monitor system health using tools like Nagios and SolarWinds
- Lead disaster recovery planning and business continuity initiatives
- Document IT infrastructure changes and create technical SOPs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on automation initiatives using Ansible/Terraform
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration
- Expert proficiency in Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP management
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+ or equivalent industry-recognized credentials
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- Hands-on experience with AWS/Azure cloud services and networking fundamentals
- Proven track record of incident response and root cause analysis
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
