Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the maintenance and administration of on-premise and cloud-based server environments, including Linux and Windows Server.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and monitor network security protocols, firewalls, and VPNs to protect sensitive company data.
- Automation: Develop and deploy automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, or Bash to streamline IT operations and reduce manual errors.
- System Reliability: Ensure 99.9% system uptime and data integrity through rigorous backup strategies and disaster recovery planning.
- Tier 2 Support: Troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues for internal stakeholders and provide technical guidance.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3-5+ years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or Azure/AWS Cloud certification is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff.
