Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the organization's server infrastructure, including Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
- Implement and monitor network security measures, firewalls, and VPNs to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot complex Active Directory (AD) environments, group policies, and identity management solutions.
- Automate routine administrative tasks and deployment processes using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Oversee cloud infrastructure management (AWS/Azure) including EC2 instances, S3 storage, and VPC configurations.
- Conduct regular system audits, performance tuning, and disaster recovery planning to minimize downtime.
- Provide Level 3 technical support and act as the primary escalation point for critical infrastructure issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer in a professional environment.
- Strong proficiency in Linux (Red Hat/CentOS) and Windows Server administration.
- Deep understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP) and hardware architecture.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes) is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins).
- Valid IT certifications such as CompTIA Server+, CCNA, or AWS Certified SysAdmin.
