Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux/Windows server environments in AWS/Azure
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP services for 500+ users
- Automate deployment processes using Ansible/Terraform
- Monitor system performance with Nagios/Zabbix and optimize resource allocation
- Coordinate disaster recovery testing and incident response
- Document SOPs and create technical knowledge base articles
- Mentor junior sysadmins and provide Tier-3 support escalation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience
- Expert-level knowledge of Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash/Powershell)
- Cloud certification (AWS/Azure) or equivalent hands-on experience
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker/K8s)
- Security-focused mindset with compliance knowledge (SOX, GDPR)
- Ability to manage high-pressure situations during outages
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
