Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee and maintain on-premise and cloud-based server infrastructure, including Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Network Administration: Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize network hardware and software to ensure seamless connectivity.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and monitor security protocols, perform regular audits, and manage firewalls to protect sensitive data.
- User Support: Provide Tier 2/3 technical support, resolve complex ticketed issues, and serve as the primary point of contact for system inquiries.
- Backup & Recovery: Develop and execute disaster recovery plans, ensuring data integrity and business continuity.
- Hardware Deployment: Manage the lifecycle of hardware assets, including procurement, deployment, and end-of-life disposal.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including standard operating procedures and network diagrams.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Administrator.
- Certifications: CompTIA Network+ or Security+, CCNA, or equivalent technical certifications are highly preferred.
- Operating Systems: Proficiency in Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux (RHEL/CentOS).
- Active Directory: Strong working knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Identity Management.
- Scripting: Ability to write and modify scripts (PowerShell, Bash) for automation and troubleshooting.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Availability: Must be available for on-call rotation and potential overtime during critical system maintenance windows.
