Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022) and Active Directory infrastructure
- Oversee cloud infrastructure deployments on AWS and Azure with emphasis on security best practices
- Implement and monitor backup/recovery solutions ensuring 99.9% uptime SLAs
- Diagnose and resolve complex system issues using scripting (PowerShell/Bash)
- Coordinate hardware/software lifecycle management and vendor relationships
- Develop automation workflows using Ansible or Terraform
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives including patch management and vulnerability assessments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years administering enterprise-level Windows/Linux systems
- Expert knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
- AWS/Azure certification (e.g., Solutions Architect or SysOps)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and container technologies
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent security certification
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
