Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) environments
- Implement and maintain AWS/Azure cloud infrastructure (EC2, S3, VPC)
- Oversee Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network security protocols
- Develop automation solutions using PowerShell, Python, and Ansible
- Monitor system performance with Nagios/Zabbix and implement performance tuning
- Coordinate disaster recovery planning and execute system backups
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and mentor junior administrators
- Ensure compliance with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 security standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years administering enterprise Windows/Linux environments
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) with certification (AWS/Azure SA preferred)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell/Python) and automation experience
- Proven network administration (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and container technologies
- ITIL foundation certification or equivalent process knowledge
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities and documentation skills
