Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain enterprise-level Windows/Linux server environments (Active Directory, VMware, Kubernetes)
- Implement robust cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and compliance frameworks
- Optimize cloud infrastructure across Azure/AWS with cost-benefit analysis
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute system resilience testing
- Automate deployment pipelines using Ansible/Terraform and CI/CD tools
- Provide Tier 3 support and mentor junior team members
- Document SOPs and maintain configuration management databases
Qualifications
- 5+ years administering Windows Server 2019+ and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) environments
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware ESXi/Hyper-V) and container orchestration
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, AWS SysOps, or equivalent
- Deep knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, load balancing)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python/PowerShell) and infrastructure-as-code
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Datadog, or Splunk)
- Strong troubleshooting skills with root cause analysis methodology
