Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows Server environments (2019/2022) and Active Directory infrastructure
- Oversee cloud platforms including Azure and AWS, ensuring optimal configuration and cost-efficiency
- Manage virtualization environments using VMware vSphere and Hyper-V
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and Splunk, proactively addressing issues
- Develop and execute disaster recovery plans and backup solutions
- Collaborate with network teams to ensure seamless integration of systems
- Document IT procedures and maintain comprehensive system documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in Windows Server administration and Active Directory
- Strong expertise in cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and virtualization technologies
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Python) for automation
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent security certification required
- Proven track record of managing enterprise-scale IT infrastructure
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
