Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain on-premise and cloud-based server infrastructure (Windows Server and Linux).
- Manage and secure Active Directory environments, including user provisioning and group policies.
- Monitor system performance, analyze metrics, and proactively troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
- Implement and enforce IT security policies, backup strategies, and disaster recovery plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate IT processes using scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
- Oversee hardware lifecycle management, including procurement, deployment, and decommissioning.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar IT infrastructure role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux distributions (RHEL, Ubuntu).
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, CompTIA Server+, or MCSA are highly preferred.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell) and automation tools.
- Deep understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) and hardware components.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
