Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize Windows Server and Linux infrastructure across on-premises and AWS environments
- Manage enterprise-level virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V) and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute high-availability solutions with 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Proactively monitor system performance using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, and Splunk
- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible to streamline operations
- Collaborate with cybersecurity team to implement zero-trust architecture and compliance frameworks
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex system incidents and root cause analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years administering Windows Server 2016/2019 and RHEL/CentOS environments
- Expertise in networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) and Cisco/Juniper firewalls
- Certifications in AWS/Azure, CompTIA Security+, or CISSP preferred
- Proven experience with cloud migration projects and hybrid architecture design
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python) for automation and configuration management
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional on-call rotation
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
