Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise and cloud-based server infrastructure (Linux and Windows Server).
- Monitor system performance, security, and availability to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Implement and manage network security protocols, including firewalls and VPNs.
- Automate administrative tasks using scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
- Perform regular backups, disaster recovery testing, and system updates.
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support and mentor junior system administrators.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy new applications and services.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar IT role.
- Strong proficiency in Linux (Red Hat/CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
- Experience with Active Directory and Identity Management solutions.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
- CompTIA Security+ or higher certification is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
