Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize Linux/Windows server environments across on-premises and cloud platforms
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor system health with Nagios/Grafana and proactively resolve performance bottlenecks
- Manage hybrid cloud architectures (AWS/Azure) with multi-site replication strategies
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute security compliance audits
- Mentor junior engineers and document system architecture blueprints
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration with Linux/Windows environments
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) with certification preferred
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python/Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Strong networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and virtualization (VMware)
- CI/CD pipeline implementation using Jenkins/GitLab CI
- Security certifications (CISSP/Security+) or equivalent experience
