Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server infrastructure across on-premises and AWS/Azure environments
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and group policies for 500+ users
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and SolarWinds
- Execute disaster recovery procedures and data backup strategies
- Collaborate with security teams on vulnerability patching and compliance (SOX/HIPAA)
- Document infrastructure changes and maintain technical documentation
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex system issues
Qualifications
- 5+ years of system administration experience in enterprise environments
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019+ and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/K8s)
- CCNA/CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certifications
- Proven track record of optimizing system performance and security
- Ability to work in a 24/7 on-call rotation
