Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments across hybrid cloud and on-premise infrastructures
- Proactively monitor system performance using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, and SolarWinds
- Execute patch management, security hardening, and compliance audits (CIS, NIST)
- Automate workflows using PowerShell, Ansible, and Terraform
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN services
- Provide Tier 3 support for critical incidents during on-call rotations
- Document SOPs and architecture diagrams in Confluence
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019/2022 and RHEL/CentOS
- Certified in AWS/Azure or CompTIA Server+
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls)
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues under pressure
