Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain server infrastructure including Windows/Linux environments
- Monitor system performance and proactively address security vulnerabilities
- Manage cloud services (AWS/Azure) and hybrid cloud environments
- Provide Tier-3 technical support and troubleshoot complex system issues
- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell/Python for operational efficiency
- Document system configurations and maintain compliance standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT projects and system upgrades
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in system administration with Windows/Linux environments
- Strong expertise in virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and container technologies
- Certification in CompTIA Server+ or Microsoft/Linux equivalent preferred
- Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Knowledge of backup solutions and disaster recovery planning
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
