Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level server infrastructure (Linux/Windows)
- Manage cloud environments (AWS/Azure) including VM provisioning and security configurations
- Oversee network systems including firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers
- Develop automation scripts for deployment and monitoring (Ansible, Terraform)
- Ensure system security through vulnerability assessments and patch management
- Provide 24/7 on-call support with rotating schedule
- Document system architectures and operational procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of system administration experience in enterprise environments
- Expert proficiency in Linux/Windows Server administration
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker)
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, AWS SysOps, or MCSA) preferred
- Proven troubleshooting skills with complex infrastructure issues
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
