Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize on-premise and cloud-based systems including AWS and Azure environments
- Implement security protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments to protect critical infrastructure
- Automate deployment processes using Ansible, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex network and server issues with SLA adherence
- Design disaster recovery plans and perform regular system backups
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless DevOps integration
- Document system configurations and maintain comprehensive knowledge base
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years administering Linux/Windows Server environments
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash/PowerShell)
- Certifications in AWS/Azure or CompTIA Server+ preferred
- Experience with monitoring tools like Nagios or Zabbix
- Proven track record of optimizing system performance and security
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and documentation skills
