Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux/Windows server environments across AWS and Azure
- Manage cloud infrastructure automation using Terraform and Ansible
- Monitor system performance using Nagios and Splunk dashboards
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execution
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Document infrastructure changes and maintain compliance with SOC2 standards
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex system issues
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in system administration with cloud platforms
- Expertise in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server 2019+
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash/PowerShell)
- AWS/Azure certifications (SAA/AZ-104 preferred)
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes/Docker)
- Network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
- ITIL certification or equivalent process knowledge
- Ability to work in a rotating on-call schedule
