Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain hybrid cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) supporting 99.9% uptime SLAs
- Lead system migrations, upgrades, and decommissioning projects using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Implement robust security protocols including IAM, firewalls, and compliance frameworks (SOC2, HIPAA)
- Automate system administration tasks using Python/PowerShell and CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor performance with tools like Nagios, Datadog, and Splunk
- Provide Tier-3 support and mentor junior administrators
- Develop disaster recovery plans and conduct quarterly failover drills
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with Windows Server 2019+ and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Expert-level knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, AWS SysOps, or Azure Administrator)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools (Ansible, Terraform)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for complex network/storage issues
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
